While we are geographically defined as a small community, our identity is one of a larger diversity. The residential component is primarily along the St. Paul Street. It is rapidly developing into a stable community of homeowners and renters. What a delight it is to welcome new residents who, along with those who have been here for a number of years, offer vitality and support to the growth of Charles North.

Our commercial district is home to a variety of smaller stores and businesses, as well as ethnic restaurants. At present time, much of our entertainment identity is focused along Charles Street. The Charles North Community is now seen more as a destination point for entertainment and dinning. We are looking forward to new development throughout the neighborhood to welcome visitors and residents.

There are a number of non-profit groups present who offer a variety of services to the diverse population of Baltimore City. Many of these groups have made substantial contributions to the historic nature of the Charles North Community.

A number of persons are interested in making substantial investments in our community. We are confident these will come to fruition as the future of the Charles North Community is most promising.
